Alexandra is a PhD student funded by the Economic and Social Research Council through the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Programme. She completed MPhil Population Health Sciences (University of Cambridge) in 2024 and BSc Biomedical Science (King’s College London) in 2023. Her previous academic and industry research has focused on the wider societal determinants and impacts of health and wellbeing. Her PhD research focuses on the impacts of smartphone and social media usage on adolescent educational attainment, examining longitudinal relationships using SCAMP and adolescent perspectives using qualitative methods.
